Track your RC model’s telemetry real-time on one easy-to-read display!

*This app requires you to have:
- A DSM2™/DSMX® RC aircraft transmitter
- An RC model equipped with a data port
*Telemetry-capable DSM2/DSMX receiver
*Spektrum Air Telemetry Module
*Spektrum Telemetry Sensors
- The Spektrum STi Telemetry Interface

With this app and the Spektrum STi Telemetry Interface connected to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you can receive data directly from your RC model’s on-board Spektrum™ telemetry module. This allows you to monitor vital information like:

-Airspeed
-Altitude
-Engine or motor RPM
-Engine or motor temperature
-Flight pack voltage
-Receiver pack voltage
-Signal quality

All the information is presented in an easy-to-read display that even non-modelers can comprehend. You can also program the STi app to alert you whenever a telemetry value exceeds certain limits you define.

Best of all, you don’t have to have a Spektrum transmitter with built-in telemetry to use it. Anyone with a DSM2 or DSMX transmitter can enjoy the advantages of real-time telemetry with the Spektrum STi interface and app. That includes modelers who fly JR®/DSM® transmitters or transmitters equipped with Spektrum DSM2 modules. Even if you have a Spektrum transmitter with built-in telemetry, this is a great way to let a friend keep an eye on model functions while you focus on flying.

Pros and cons of Spektrum STi app for iPhone and iPad

Looks awesome and has great features. Really like the ability to add model picture. Just wish it had data logging. Please add data logging in future updates.

Version 1.0 was very flaky and should not have been released. Version 2.0 is a major improvement. It seems to be much more solid. The app now speaks your selected parameters at your selected rate. It also can log and graph each parameter. This is GREAT! I am much happier with the app now. I need to do further testing before I am willing to give it five stars. Keep on improving!

Some bad moments

Why release the software when you cant even get the hardware to go with it cause it hasnt been released yet?

The app looks like a dream come true but what now? Try to figure out what next from the hh site. Good luck. Some kind of simple - logical explanation would be nice folks.

I love this app and cant wait to use it in all its intended glory.

App looks cool but for $100 is alot for such a small unit. I can see $25-$50 I can just wait for hobbyking to make one for $10..... Just too $$$$

A audible RPM alarm would be helpful in setting up a heli. With that change I would give this 5 stars. This is a great APP and interface!!!

For this to be worth it, they need more features. Right now the app only show data while you are flying, and I do not have time to look down especialy while flying a heli. 1. At minimum the app needs to show Min Max values for viewing at the end of the flight. 2. Logging the flight, and allow the user to view a graph after the flight would be totaly awsome. 3. Allowing you to save the log files, even to the cloud would be a bonuse. 3. Voice announcments during flight. These change must happen to make the product much safer to use.
